Description
The Farmhouse is a house from the mid-18th century, possibly with an earlier core. It features Flemish band brickwork and a plain tiled roof. The tall, symmetrical facade has three bays and two storeys with an attic. A central six-panel door is topped with an overlight. The windows are casements with two and three lights, each with brick relieving arches. There is a decorative brick band above the first-floor windows, which may indicate that the roof was heightened. At the rear, there is an outshot extension and a wing that includes some stonework, likely for a chimney, which is built over an earlier gable. The house has gable end stacks, as well as another stack located at the rear and south of the centre of the elevation.
