LONG WHATTON WHATTON HOUSE GROUNDS SK 42 SE 5/125 Fish cauldron in Chinese garden GV II

Garden ornament. Late C19. Of Chinese or Japanese origin. Bronze cauldron, without a bottom, on 4 squat legs. Sides of cauldron have relief decoration showing waves and 2 large fish. On roughly hewn stone base. One of a series of ornaments collected for the garden by the first Lord Crawshaw c1890-1900.
