Description
The Court House is a 17th-century house that was once used as a court house. It is constructed from ironstone with some limestone and has a roof made of graded Swithland slate. The building has one storey above a high basement. The north side features stepped side buttresses and a door at each end of the elevation. On the first floor, there is a 3-light window. The gabled roof has a central stack on the slope of the wall. The east gable includes a blocked basement window and a 4-light timber cross casement above it. Additionally, there is a small square window under the eaves on the south side. The entrance is located in the west gable end, which is accessed by a flight of steps.
