SK 83 SW BELVOIR 15/187 Sculpture depicting Juno in Belvoir Castle Sculpture Garden (one of the 15.8.79 seven statues)

GV II* Sculpture of Juno. Circa 1680. By Caius Gabriel Cibber. Stone. Square pedestal with recessed panels, each with high relief carving of flowers and fruit. Under cornice a dentil course and egg and dart frieze. Clothed female figure in pose suggesting sudden surprise. At her feet a peacock (emblem of Manners family).
