Description
Two houses built as a range in the late 18th century, situated on the south side of Main Street, Eastwell. The houses are constructed of coursed ironstone. The west side features a blocked central doorway that has been converted into a window. Each house is divided into two distinct units, each unit containing two bays. Number 26 (to the north) has two renewed 3-light casement windows on each floor. Number 28 is similarly arranged but with 20th-century casement windows. The gabled roof has two symmetrically placed brick stacks, one positioned over the center of each housing unit. The north stack is partly made of gault brick. The east side serves as the entrance front and contains a scattering of 20th-century windows and doors.
