Description

Two houses, located on the southeast side of High Street, Abbots Langley. These date from a late 18th-century rebuilding of an earlier structure, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The houses are constructed of whitewashed brick, with a tiled roof that is hipped on the left-hand side. Each house has one window and one entrance. Number 13 has sash windows set within reveals, while number 11 has 20th-century casement windows. An 18th-century brick ridge stack is present. The interior of number 13 retains a cambered tie beam made of substantial timber. The buildings are included in the listing primarily for group value.
