Description

No. 5 High Street is a house dating from the 18th century, with possible earlier origins, and has been altered in the 20th century. It is built of whitewashed brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window front. There is a central entrance that is topped with a bracketed hood. The windows are three-light timber casements with flush frames, and the ground floor has a cambered head. A projecting course is present at the eaves, and there is a stack at the left end as well as an extruded stack at the rear. This building is included for its group value.
