Description

The war memorial, located on Hose School Lane in Harby, is a Grade II listed structure that dates from the early 20th century but incorporates remains of a medieval village cross. It features a triple-stepped plinth that is inscribed with the names of those who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars. The base of the memorial is square and has decorative bosses at the top corners. The cross shaft tapers, starting as a square section and transitioning to an octagonal shape, topped with a 20th-century moulded design and a foliated cross.
