Description

The Croft is a house, originally a row of two cottages and a farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The walls are of cob, with a corrugated iron roof replacing a former thatched roof, and brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a six-unit plan and one storey with an attic, featuring a six-window front. The front features plank doors with rendered lintels. The windows are largely irregular, with 16-pane sash windows, one 9-pane sash window to the left of the centre, and a two-light window to the left, all with wood lintels. Dormer windows are present with sloping roofs and 2-light sliding casements. Inside, the roof is supported by collar trusses.
