Description

Wold House is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, constructed in two phases and altered in the 19th century. It features coursed squared ironstone and limestone with a slate roof, along with brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan, with a panelled, part-glazed door located to the right of the centre, topped with a segmental brick head. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows, while the first floor has similar windows to the left of centre and 12-pane sashes to the right of centre, all with segmental brick heads. The left gable end displays quoins, a central straight joint, and a cellar window with a wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
