Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, which is painted, and has a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan and is two stories high, featuring a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a panelled, part-glazed door with an overlight and side-lights, all set within a wrought-iron lattice porch topped with a curved lead roof. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 9-pane sashes, all equipped with painted stone sills and segmental brick heads. The eaves are decorated with dentilled brickwork. At the rear left, there is a full-height wing, and the rear elevations have casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
