Description

Hortonlane Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. The southeast front includes integral brick end stacks and three gabled eaves dormers with horizontal-sliding glazing bar sashes. The facade is arranged in three bays, with segmental-headed boxed glazing-bar sashes that have painted stone cills, featuring a 16-pane window in the center and tripartite windows in the outer bays. The central entrance consists of a boarded door with a pegged frame, a three-part rectangular overlight, and a bracketed flat hood. The interior has not been inspected.
