Description
New Inn Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with a ridge stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with two rear wings that create a U-plan. The main facade consists of five symmetrical bays. There is a stone step leading up to a six-panelled door, which is framed by a sunk panelled architraved doorcase and frieze that replaces the original hood. The original window above the door has been replaced by a 20th-century round fixed-light. The farmhouse has four recessed hung sash windows on the ground floor and four on the first floor, all of which are twelve-paned and set within cambered brick arches.
