Description

The garden wall and gate piers at Stoneleigh, numbered 17, date from around 1830 and were altered in the 20th century. They are constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone. The low wall encloses the front garden of Stoneleigh and features central piers that frame iron garden gates, along with a similar pier at the left end. Both piers have pyramidal stone caps, and the structure includes a chamfered plinth and stone coping. This listing is included for its group value.
