Description

The garden wall and left gatepier at Red House date from the early 18th century. The wall is constructed from regularly coursed drystone ironstone with a cemented top. The gatepier, which may be from the early 20th century, is made of ironstone ashlar and features a moulded cornice and a ball finial. This structure is an important part of the streetscape and is included for its group value.
