Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now without a farm, dating from around 1760. It is constructed of brick and ironstone, topped with a roof of black glazed pantiles. The south front is made of brick and features two storeys with three window bays, separated by a platband. The former central doorway has been blocked to create a window. The windows are 2 or 3-light 19th-century casements with glazing bars. There is a dentil eaves cornice below the gabled roof and internal gable-end stacks.
To the east, there is an early 19th-century two-storey extension, consisting of one bay with an ironstone ground floor and brick above, also covered with a black glazed pantile roof. This extension has one 20th-century casement on each floor and an internal gable-end stack. Additionally, there is a further single-storey extension to the east.
