Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made around 1870. It is constructed from coursed ironstone, featuring limestone quoins and brick dressings. The building has a front range designed in a double pile plan, covered with pantiles, while the rear range has concrete tiles. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and consists of four bays. A 19th-century gabled brick porch is positioned to the right of the centre. The windows are primarily late 19th-century sashes with glazing bars, except for a 20th-century casement on the right side of the ground floor. There is a blind window above the door and a blocked window to the left of the porch. The windows are set under brick segmental arches, and there is a brick platband at the first floor that rises over the ground floor windows and doorway. The rear range features largely 20th-century details. Inside, there is a late 19th-century staircase and boxed bridging beams.
