Description

Redmile House, formerly known as Home Farmhouse, is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The building stands 2½ storeys high and features three bays. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is set within an 18th-century timber doorcase and is topped by a four-vaned fanlight, with a flat door hood above. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are placed beneath flat rendered skewback arches. The windows also have shutters. The house has a gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks.
