Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the late 17th century, which has been significantly altered in the late 20th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone and features a roof made of 20th-century concrete pantiles. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. A 20th-century glazed door is located to the right of the centre, flanked by one late 20th-century casement window on each side. The door and the right-hand window are concealed behind a 20th-century timber conservatory. On the first floor, there are two similar windows, all of which are in altered openings. The gabled roof has a 17th-century brick ridge stack on the left and a 20th-century brick gable-end stack on the right. The interior of the house is entirely of 20th-century character. Old Rectory Cottage is attached to the left (south) gable.
