Description
Poplars Farmhouse, formerly known as Home Farmhouse, is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It is timber-framed and currently faced in pebble-dash. The roof is covered with black glazed pantiles and features gabled ends. On the south end, there is a gabled cross wing that includes an attic window in the gable. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, with a total of five windows, which are three-light wood mullion casements that have 19th-century dripmoulds. The entrance features a 19th-century glazed door flanked by slim columns that support a simple hood. There are also later brick chimney stacks.
