Description
Briar Hill House, formerly known as Briar Hill Farmhouse, is an early 19th-century building. It is constructed of squared rubble and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, which has wide eaves. The house is two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The central entrance consists of a six flush panel door topped by an oblong fanlight with glazing bars, all framed by fluted Doric pilasters and an entablature with a cornice hood. Each side elevation includes a canted bay window on the ground floor, and there is a two-window back wing.
