Description

The East Barn at Wootton Hill Farm is a 17th or 18th century barn, altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with some 19th century red brick dressings around the windows and doorway. The roof is covered in Welsh slates. The barn is two storeys high; the ground floor was originally used as a byre (cattle shelter), and the first floor served as a granary, accessed by external steps. The barn is included on the list for its group value alongside the farmhouse and West Barn.
