Description
Lock Number 12 on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal is a lock built around 1815, which was restored in 1882 and again in the 20th century. It features red brick construction lined with concrete from the 20th century and has metal gates. This is a single-width lock that includes a single upper gate and double lower gates. It is the bottom lock of a flight of 12 locks on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
