Description

Lock Number 2 on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal is a lock built around 1815, with restorations completed in 1882 and the 20th century. It is constructed from red and blue brick and features timber and metal swing gates. This single-width lock has a single upper gate and double lower gates. It is part of a flight of 12 locks on the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
