Description
The Post Office is a house that has been converted into a shop and Post Office, dated 1764, with significant alterations made in 1988. It is constructed of ironstone and features a pantile roof. The building is one storey high with a dormer attic. The front wall has been heavily re-pointed. There is a central door flanked by one three-light casement window on each side, all of which were added in 1988. The gabled roof includes a gabled dormer, also from 1988, positioned to the left. At the rear, there is another gabled dormer from 1988, along with a renewed dormer under the sloping roof. The interior has gable-end stacks, with the northern stack having been demolished at the time of the re-survey. The interior retains a bridging beam.
