Description

This is a cottage dating from the mid 18th century, which was re-roofed and had its windows changed in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of brick, rendered and whitewashed, and features roofs made of Welsh and Swithland slate. The cottage has a rendered plinth, corbelled eaves, and three brick gable stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays in an L-plan layout.

The front of the cottage has an off-centre six-panelled door, which is flanked by a single three-light sliding sash window with a segmental head. Above the door, there are two hipped cross eaves dormers, each containing two-light sliding sash windows. The rear wing features a lean-to single bay porch on the left side, with a sliding sash window with a segmental head to its right. Above this, there is a cross eaves gabled dormer with a two-light sliding sash window.
