Description
Manor House Farm is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on Main Street in Carlton. The building features a combination of partially limestone rubble and brick, topped with plain tiled roofs. It is two stories high, with its gable facing the street. The lower rear wing runs parallel to the main block, which includes a doorway in a small lean-to. The main section consists of two units, showcasing 3-light casement and 4-light sash windows, with an additional brick bay on the left. The lower part of the building facing the street has a doorway and a prominent 16-light sash window on the first floor in the gable. There are also partial cambered heads of blocked window openings visible. The rear wing contains a blocked window and 3-light casements on the ground floor, along with 16-pane sash windows above. The building is capped with gable and axial stacks.
