Description

No. 5 Church Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, with an additional bay to the left of the doorway. The doorway is framed with a wooden architrave and has a radial fanlight above it, accessed by steps with wrought iron handrails. The ground floor windows are 20-pane sash windows, while the first floor windows have 16 panes, and all windows have flat splayed heads. The house has a dentilled eaves cornice and gable end stacks.
