Description

No. 16 Far Street is a house dating from about 1800. It is constructed of brick and has a symmetrical facade of three bays across three storeys. A central doorway, approached by steps, is set within a plain moulded surround. The windows are sash windows, with 16 lights on the ground floor, 12 lights on the middle floor, and 6 lights on the upper floor. Each window has a gauged brick head. The central window spaces on each floor are blank. The building has projecting gable end stacks.
