Description

The 3 Crowns Public House is a house dating from around 1830, built on an earlier structure. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with overhanging eaves and gable end stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan, with a doorway framed in its original moulded case. All the windows have cambered heads; the upper windows are 16-light sashes, while the ground floor windows have been renewed. There is a section of rubble plinth to the left of the facade, and evidence suggests that the original building was heightened at the gable end wall.
