Description

No. 27 Gilgal is a house dating from around 1800. It is rendered over brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is three stories high and consists of three bays. The central doorway features a six-panelled door set in a pedimented case, complete with a traceried fanlight above. On the ground floor, the doorway is flanked by canted bay windows. Above the doorway, there is a round arched window that is flanked by Palladian windows. The attic storey has semi-circular windows. All the windows throughout the house are sash windows with small panes. The house has gable end stacks.
