Description

41 Mitton Street is a house that likely dates back to the early 17th century. It is timber-framed and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high and framed in square panels, with four panels vertically and twelve panels horizontally. There is an axial stack with remnants of original diagonal brick flues, and a doorway is located to the left of the stack. The house features three small casement windows set within the panels, with the two upper windows displaying traceried glazing. The roof construction, which includes queen posts and struts, is visible in the gable wall.
