Description
The Bell Public House is a former public house that has been converted into residential use. It was likely built around 1800 and features a painted brick exterior with a Welsh slate roof. The building is three stories high and has three bays, with the facade recently rebuilt to match the original design. There is a central doorway topped with a pediment, and the windows are sash style with stuccoed flat arched heads and moulded key stones. The ground floor has 16-pane windows that decrease in height on the upper floors. The central window on the first floor has French doors that open onto a wrought-iron balcony. The north side has a coped gable, while the roof slopes to the south with a hipped round rear wing that also has three bays.
