Description

The Manor House is a late 18th-century house located on Far Street in Wymeswold. It is constructed of brick with an ashlar plinth. The roof is covered in modern tiles. The house is two and a half storeys high and has four bays; the right-hand bay sits on a differently constructed plinth. A stone sill course runs along the first floor. The windows are 16- and 8-light sashes with stone sills and gauged brick heads. The front entrance features a six-panelled door with a traceried fanlight, set within a flat stone porch supported by moulded and decorated brackets. A moulded eaves cornice runs around the building. Gable and axial stacks are present. A wing extends to the rear.
