Description

No. 85 East Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of brown brick and has a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. There is a 20th-century door on the left, which has a fanlight with intersecting glazing bars set under a pointed arch. To the right of the door, there are two sash windows with sills and intersecting glazing bars, also under pointed arches. On the first floor, there are three similar sash windows. The house has an end stack to the right, which is tumbled in brick to raised gables.
