Description

No. 24 Middle Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of light brown brick in stretcher bond with stone dressings and has a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and one bay. There is a flagstone step leading to a boarded door located under a wedge-shaped lintel on the right side, and to the left, there is a sliding sash window with glazing bars and a sill, also under a wedge-shaped lintel. On the first floor, there is another sliding sash window with glazing bars and a sill. The house features a dentilled brick eaves cornice, an end stack, and plain close verges.
