Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 18th century, with a single-bay extension added in the 19th century. A datestone marked ‘F’ is positioned above the front door. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof. It is now four bays wide. The central doorway is a 20th-century addition, featuring an oblong fanlight and flanked by sash windows with glazing bars and sills, all set beneath cambered gauged brick arches. The upper floor has sash windows with glazing bars, contained within architraves and sills. An extension to the right includes a blocked doorway on the left side, also under a cambered gauged brick arch. Ground and first floor sashes in the extension have 16 panes and sills, also beneath cambered gauged brick arches. The building has plain, close verges, and end stacks.
