Description
No. 34 Middle Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick in stretcher bond and has been whitewashed. The building features a baffle entry and is two storeys high with a symmetrical elevation of two bays. There are two steps leading up to a 20th-century door, which is flanked by four-pane sash windows, all of which are set under segmental brick heads. To the right, there is a lower boarded service door with an oblong fanlight, also under a segmental head. The first floor has sliding sashes with glazing bars. The house is topped with a dentilled brick eaves cornice and has a massive axial stack that features a band and stepped cornice.
