Description

The Old Clubhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays, with the central pair located beneath a pedimented gable. The doorway is positioned to the left within a stuccoed porch that features an entablature and Tuscan shafts. The windows are tall openings set within the walls, featuring gauged brick heads with ogival decoration underneath. They are made of cast iron, with many small panes and a small central opening light. The upper windows have similar heads but consist of 12-pane sashes. A dentilled band runs along the pedimented central gable, and there are gable end stacks.
