Description

No. 1 on Main Street is a shop and dwelling that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays, although the ground floor is entirely occupied by a modern shop front. Above, there are a pair of two-light casement windows with vertical brick heads. A rear wing is present, and there is a stack on the right-hand gable. This building is included for its group value.
