Description
Nos. 10 and 12 on Main Street are a pair of shops and dwellings built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from brick and have plain tiled roofs. The buildings are three storeys high, with No. 10 featuring two bays and No. 12 having three.
No. 10 has a doorway on the right and a 19th-century shop front on the left, which includes a dentilled band on the fascia and consoles on the architrave. Above, there are three-light casement windows, all of which have been renewed, with original openings that feature cambered brick heads.
No. 12 has a central six-panelled door topped with a radial fanlight set within a pedimented architrave, flanked by three-light casement windows. There are two lights above the door. Both buildings have gable end stacks.
