Description

Bown's Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been clad in early 19th-century materials. It features a timber frame, with some of the original timber frame exposed at the front, and was re-clad in red brick in the late 20th century. The cottage has a slate roof with an end stack to the left, which is coupled with the stack of Mason's Cottage nearby. It stands two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows, with two casement windows on both the first and ground floors.
