Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a moulded band and a dog-tooth brick cornice. The roof is made of Swithland slate and has ridge stacks located to the left and in the centre. The building has a U-plan layout with projecting gabled return wings, and the gables are designed to resemble very steep pediments. There are two flat-headed dormers positioned in the centre of the roof. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with a four-window front that includes gauged segment-headed surrounds and early 20th-century wooden casements. The entrance features a panelled door with a transom light, set within a wooden surround that has panelled reveals and a flat hood supported by carved volute brackets above.
