Description

Mason's Cottage is a cottage dated 1813, constructed of red brick with a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a slate roof featuring end stacks. The right stack is coupled with that of Bown's Cottage. The building is two storeys high and has a regular two-window front, which includes three-light late 20th-century wood-framed casements. The ground floor windows are taller and have segmental heads. There is a round-arched doorway with impost blocks and a late 20th-century panelled door. A datestone is positioned high on the left-hand stack, reading "D J Mason 1813."
