Description

Stone Cottage, previously listed as No 21, is a house located on Northgate in Hallaton. It is largely from the 19th century, although it may have an earlier core. The building is constructed from coursed and squared ironstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys and a two-unit plan, with a central door that has likely been relocated. The entrance includes a four-centred archway with a squared head. The ground floor has outer 16-light sash windows, while the upper floor has 12-light sash windows. A central stack creates a baffle entry.
