Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house on High Street, Hallaton. The house is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof, although the gable walls are of ironstone. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway features a segmentally arched head with a keystone. The ground floor windows are 3-light casements set within flat-arched brick surrounds. Similar windows are located on the upper floor, and a round-arched window with decorative glazing and a keystone sits above the door. Stone quoins and a plinth are visible, as are brick sill bands. The building features coped gables and gable end stacks.
