Description

This is a two-storey house, now used as a shop, dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. The front is of red brick with blue headers and a Welsh slate roof. The building originally had four bays, but the left-hand bay is a separate structure containing an early 19th-century shop window that is slightly bowed, extending almost to ground level, and supported by ornate console brackets. A central entrance door is flanked by a twelve-light sash window to the left and an archway on the right, leading to the rear of the property. All these openings are topped with cambered brick arches. Three two-light casement windows are located on the upper floor. Gable end stacks are present.
