Description

No. 6 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a three-unit plan, with one bay to the left of the doorway, which is framed by a moulded wood architrave. To the right of the doorway are two additional bays, all of which contain 3-light casement windows with chamfered timber lintels. Above, there are three 2-light casement windows set in eyebrow dormers. The house has gable and axial stacks.
