Description

The Leicestershire Yeomanry War Memorial, built around 1920, is a granite chip concrete obelisk approximately 1.0 meters tall, set on a stepped plinth. The design incorporates a cross and features wreaths on its sides. Below the cross, there are metal plaques and regimental crests. This memorial commemorates those who fell in the Boer War and both World Wars. It is a significant landmark, located near the Old John Tower in Bradgate Park.
