Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on Church Street, Rothley. It is constructed of red brick, with the front whitewashed, and has a moulded brick cornice and a roof covered in Swithland slate, partially double-span, featuring a brick ridge and end stacks. The house has two and a half storeys and is arranged with four eight-over-six sash windows on each floor and two eight-over-two sash windows. There are three 3x3 sash dormers set below the eaves. The ground floor features a garage door, a recessed arch containing doors, a rectangular sashed bay window, a doorcase with a broken pediment on brackets, a six-panelled door with a fanlight, and a similar bay window.
